There is a Krasnoyarsk dam on the Yenisei River. It is a 124 m (407 ft) high concrete gravity dam and the length of the dam is 1,065 meters (3,494 ft). Located on the Yenisei River about 30 kilometers (19 mi) upstream from Krasnoyarsk in Divnogorsk, Russia.
The construction of the Krasnoyarsk Dam was carried out from 1956 to 1972, and it supplies about 6,000 MW of electricity.
